3D, CAD and packaging require being able to clearly plan a 2D drawing or a CAD model and rendering so that a manufacturer can produce it into a 3D form. Working in a digital 3D environment is low risk and an efficient means to create a perfect scene or shot without having to set up a complete product shoot and worrying about post production.
